Based on Latest Neuroscience Research, there is A Paradigm Shift in Brain Health and Aging!
According to the Breakthrough Amazon.com #1 Bestseller, The Neurogenesis Diet & Lifestyle, the Specific Steps to Renew BRAIN CELL Growth to Restore and Retain Mental and Physical Acuity is shared with you.
You hold the keys to upgrade your brain to upgrade your life.
Trust in the scientific process of life and find the path to your Brain’s Fountain of Youth.
The Neurogenesis Diet & Lifestyle:
Upgrade Your Brain, Upgrade Your Life
By Brant Cortright, Ph.D
For years science has thought that there was no way to halt the death of brain cells that control our aging process, but recent neuroscience has actually discovered how we can grow new brain cells (neurogenesis) at ANY point in our lives. When the rate of neurogenesis is low we experience memory loss, cognitive deficits, anxiety, stress, depression and lowered immunity. With high rates, we flourish–demonstrating rapid learning, mental acuity, emotional resiliency, robust health and more.
Wouldn’t it be remarkable if you could just increase the brain’s rate of making new brain cells?
Well, in fact, you can! And Brant Cortright, Ph.D, shares his formula to do that! His remarkable new breakthrough book, The Neurogenesis Diet & Lifestyle: Upgrade Your Brain, Upgrade Your Life–already an Amazon #1 Bestseller–captures the newest science on how to rev up brain cell growth.
Listen as Dr. Brant Cortright shares the scientifically validated 4-point program of diet and lifestyle.
This groundbreaking 4-point program will:
- Improve your memory and brain power
- Inoculate you against stress and depression
- Prevent or delay cognitive decline, dementia and Alzheimer’s
- Enrich your relationships and sex life
With this Diet and Lifestyle Program, you have the ability to increase your rate of neurogenesis by 3 to 5 times over today’s output.
Listen as Dr. Cortright discusses dietary recommendations for brain food, brain vitamins, brain supplements, memory vitamins and memory supplements. The Neurogenesis Diet & Lifestyle will help ward off cognitive decline and avoid dementia. It touches on a comprehensive holistic regimen that addresses Diet, Mind, Body, and Spirit.
This lifestyle plan is the only lifestyle for which there is scientific evidence supporting it, as shown by a late 2014 research study by the Buck Foundation and a 2015 Finnish study.
And you’ll find plenty of surprises during the interview, too as Dr. Cortright addresses:
- What’s up with those blueberries
- What happens when we do aerobic exercise
- Why travel awakens the brain
- How important touch is for brain cell growth
- The role of music and silence in neurogenesis
- Why it’s possible for you to operate at a higher level than ever before – regardless of your age
“This is the most important book you’ll read this year. Dr. Cortright has rescued new, paradigm-shifting findings about neurogenesis from being lost in neuroscience journals and brought them to the wider public to show the astounding number of ways all of us can expand our cognitive abilities and overall brain function—“Frank Echenhofer, Ph.D, Neuroscientist, Neuroscientist, Professor at CIIS
“This is the best book to give anyone over 50!”-Cathy Coleman, Ph.D
“For years, I’ve been waiting for the book that would show the whole brain can be enhanced, not just one of its functions, not one of its certain skills, but the brain on the whole. And here it is.”-Olga Louchakova-Swartz, M.D., Ph. D, Neuroscientist, Professor at Sofia University
Dr. Cortright’s work proves you are never too old to play or have other kinds of “young fun.” Youth is in the mind of the beholder. Your brain is talking to you. Are you listening? What do you hear?

Have YOU Met Your Physician-within,Yet? 3 Ways to Access Your Dreams (VIDEO)
Have you met your Physician-within, yet? Set the intention to meet this important part of your life tonight before going to sleep. Here are three steps to get you started:
1.) Intention is the first step in manifesting information in your dreams. A simple request is all it takes. “I wish to meet my Physician-within in my dream tonight.”
If you are new at this experience and feel the need to truly ground this request, the second step is
2.) Write your intention on a piece of paper and place it under your pillow. This is one way to “sleep on it.” A play on words that holds profound meaning.
Our dreams often use a play on words to speak to us. “Washing your hands” of a situation, kicking something in the dream “to the curb,” are two examples that come to mind of ridding yourself of a problem as a means of solving a challenge. So tonight, sleep on your intention and remember not to forget your dream. You can set that as a third step and another intention:
3.) “And please let me remember my dream!”
Make sure your dream journal, pen and a flashlight is beside your bed. If your dream awakens you, it may be telling you to write down important information before you have a chance to forget it. This often happens in multiple dreams. Rather than waking up your family by turning on the lights, use the flashlight beside your bed.
If you do not own a dream journal, click on the gift link at the bottom of the article and download one for free in 7 Steps to Access, Awaken and Activate Your Inner Guide.
I met my Physician-within in my dreams. She introduced herself as Dr. Jules and the information she imparted about having three cancers, not just the one my earlier dreams had found, saved my life. That dream titled, Three Crabs, is in my book, and also in Dreams Cloud. http://www.dreamscloud.com/en/dreams/reflections/reflectionsall/38335
As an R.A. Boch Cancer Hotline Counselor, I’ve found that my story is not unique. Many women told me they knew something was wrong with their bodies and had dreams about their cancer, but did not take those intuitive dreams seriously. What does make my story special is that I did follow my dreams. My five minute video tells the story in film. This blog is a short version of my story in words, which is from my book SURVIVING CANCERLAND: The Intuitive Aspects of Healing.
My Physician-within came to my rescue when the medical community and the tests on which they relied missed my breast cancer three times. That is as lucky as winning the lottery three times in a row. Luck had little to do with it, Divine Intervention did. Science goes so far and then comes God, often in dreams. My first cancer was stage 2, my recurrence was stage 4 and the end stage of zero.
There is almost always a point in the process of illness where logic, reason, and medical expertise fail. It is at this point a patient can slip through the cracks, often never to recover.
However, we hold all the answers to our well-being. Dreams are the key to the solution.
Dreams are the way our Eternal Teacher, aka ET, phones home for help. Someone always answers the call. We are never alone in our darkest hour.
My story is about healing using both conventional and holistic medicine. I survived aggressive cancer by combining chemotherapy and radiation to heal my body with dreams, and used meditation and prayers to heal my spirit for total wellness. Laughter is also medicine and my husband of 33 years and I laughed “until we healed” because illness affects the whole family.
Using all of these modalities, especially dreams, gave me a healing greater than the sum of its individual parts. This also gave me the strength to stand in my power and speak my truth in order to win at the “Hospital Policy Game.”
I learned 3 important lessons that took me from a Survivor to an empowered Thriver.
1.) Life is not a spectator sport, so roll up your sleeves, jump into the game and be a part of your health team.
2.) Don’t be dismissed by those in authority. Teaching them to listen to you may save your life and be of service to others in the future.
3.) Be a persistent squeaky wheel until you are heard.
I have now been cancer free for 12 and 17 years respectively.
Dreams were an important part of your diagnosis and healing process. Five years after my second treatment, I had another dream. In it Dr. Jewels, my Physician–within, stood with my Spirit-guide, took my bag of chemotherapy and threw it into a trash can.
The message in the dream was loud and clear. I am not in remission. I am healed!

MEANINGFUL MOMENTS SHARED WITH LOVE
From Fearing to Loving the Unknown
By Sue Malcolm
I never anticipated my fear of the unknown, transforming into such deep love for incredibly kind unseen beings; but life is full of surprises! In my teens I’d find myself in the mind, body and spirit section of bookshops, turning pages engrossed and fascinated by what I read. All too often though, I’d hear “Come on, you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into reading books like that”. Maybe I didn’t but I felt drawn towards them. Nonetheless, I allowed my friends words to exaggerate my mild fear of the unknown and I left the shops empty handed.
Sitting alone, some 30 years later another opportunity to venture into the unknown presented itself. At a time when I struggled to know where my life was heading a silent voice entered my head in a moment of serene solitude informing me of my purpose in life – to help sick, abandoned and cruelly treated animals. ‘Wow! What a fantastic mission!’ I thought. Without any hesitation, I humbly and excitedly accepted this message with immense joy, honour and gratitude. I couldn’t have chosen a more wonderful ‘reason for being’ although I knew little about animals.
I believe my instant acceptance of this anonymous message initiated a wealth of initially frightening but most often incredibly magical and beautiful spiritual experiences, and was the reason for a series of co-incidences beyond my wildest dreams. The latter led me to learning reiki and communicating with animals. The former introduced me to Angels and also opened my eyes, ears and heart to the spiritual world.
I’ll never forget the early proof of Angelic help I experienced thousands of feet above land four years ago. Hearing “please fasten your seat belt, we have just been advised of turbulence ahead” caused nervous tension in every cell of my body. The aroma I’d come to recognize when feeling anxious; and which I’d learned to be amazingly that of an Angel; appeared under my nose. Relieved, I silently whispered “please stop this turbulence? I’m so frightened!” Erratic and uncontrollable bumping instantly ceased, to be replaced with incredibly peaceful stillness and an almost identical repeat performance occurred on the return journey. My eyes watered to think that a heavenly Angel did that for me!
To anyone who fears the world we cannot see, please don’t. We are loved and helped by incredibly kind, caring and very knowledgeable ‘beings’ more that we will ever comprehend. In hard times assistance is always available. Providing our intentions are good, we just need to ask, trust the communication received and give thanks.
I’ve made many mistakes, trusting my own judgement more than the guidance received and have sorely regretted missed opportunities.

“We Learn by Enrolling-In EXPERIENCES that realizes our Full-Potential.” ~ Dr. Kory
“Because We Don’t Need It…”
Many of us have been programmed from a very Early start, since we were kids, to Operate on the basis of “Need.” But, if you really think about it, we may need only Very little to SURVIVE on a daily basis.
For example, we may notice that there are many homeless people on streets that day-in and day-out may only eat very little, shower or not, and drag on every day whether they have a place to live or not. We may even get-by with very little to eat or purchasing things every day and keep our bills to a very minimum. We may not choose to buy a car or take vitamins, or not spend money on skin-care products, and not take vacations; etc. But we do Extra things like working more than we should or strive to make more money to be able to afford Better things and move to better places; etc.
We do keep buying better things because we want to Enhance our lives for the better and not just “because we need” to. Living for the Better may take extra work or money, but it can also be accomplished by focusing on Quality in our lives rather than quantity.
About my guest blogger Koorosh Peymani, Ph.D.: Dr. Kory’s Philosophical curiosity in the areas of Psychology, Business, and Law led him towards the Path of Empirical understanding of these subjects. In this Path Dr. Kory has been of Assistance to many Individuals who have been struggling with their Personal issues that has caused them to hold back to be the Leaders they MUST be to SUCCEED in their Careers.
I wish to thank Dr. Kory for sharing his blog with my readers and invite him to share more of his amazing blogs in the near future.

“I learned the way a monkey learns – by watching its parents.” ~Prince Charles
AFFIRMATION ♥~The more loving I am, the more reasons I find to be loved.
According to Chinese Horoscope 2016 is the year of The Red Fire Monkey. Did someone pull this strange monkey business out of a hat or is there more behind this sign than pure luck? Does it mean this going to be a year of “monkey see-monkey do” or banding together for a common cause? The answers to these and other questions may be hidden in this article because like monkeys, we also love to hunt for treats and treasures. Any information you find is yours to keep or share.
Although today’s internationally accepted civil Western Christian Gregorian calendar, named after Pope Gregory XIII and first introduced in 1582, posts New Year’s Day as consistently on January 1, the Chinese New Year Day fluctuates.
The reason for the changing date is the Chinese calendar’s lunisolar which means its year, month and day number are based on the exact astronomical date from observations of the sun’s longitude and the moon’s phases which are ever changing. Due to the luni-solar nature of the traditional Chinese calendar system, the “zodiacal” year does not align with the Western calendar. New years are determined by a system which results in each new year beginning on a new moon sometime between late January to mid-to-late February. Unlike the Western calendar which is accepted and used world-wide, the Chinese calendar is used more for traditional activities in China and the overseas Chinese communities. However, Chinese New Year in America is great fun filled with cross-cultural celebration.
In 2016 the Chinese New Year begins February 8th, and will continue until January 27th, 2017.
Different from most Western New Year celebrations, Chinese New Year’s Eve, the evening proceeding New Year’s Day, is an occasion for Chinese families to gather for the annual reunion dinner.
This traditional dinner is more like the Western Christmas Eve meal. It is large and includes dumplings, chicken, pork and fish that is intentionally not finished. The left-overs are stored overnight for consumption the next day, symbolically extending the prosperity into the new year. The reason for this tradition stems from a pun or phrase, “every year there is leftover.” This means “be blessed with abundance every year” or “have profit that carries over every year.” And each year is a new animal.
Out with the Old Goat! In with New Monkey Business.
Read more about the 2015 Chinese Goat here: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/aboveandbeyondthe5senses/2014/12/2015-astrology-predictions-counting-green-sheep-in-your-dreams-of-love/
The 12 Chinese zodiac animals are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. According to Chinese astrology, each year (starting from Chinese New Year) is associated with an animal sign, occurring in a 12-year cycle. For example 2015 was all about the eighth sign of the 12-year cycle of animals referred to as the Goat, Ram or Sheep; symbolized by a tree branch. The Year of the Goat began February 19, 2015 and will last until 2016’s Year of the Monkey, February 8th. The 2015 Sheep/Goat year was serious and focused on team work and working hard for those you love.
What does 2016’s Monkey, the ninth of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals, mean for you?
You or your loved ones are a monkey if you were born in the years 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016. This year may old the following treasures for you.
Love: relatively vibrant relationships in this Monkey Year, but these may cause disruptions, so handle them with caution to avoid any unnecessary problems.
Numbers: 4 and 9 are lucky.
Days: the 14th and 28th of any lunar calendar month are good days for making important decisions.
Colors: white, blue and gold are your power colors.
Directions: north, northwest and west hold positive events for you.
Months: Chinese lunar months 8 and 12 will hold special opportunities for you.
What does Chinese 2016 hold for the world? We will be seeing RED in the messages?
This year belongs to the element Fire. The Chinese lucky color for 2016 is symbolized by the color red which represents love and pleasure in vibrant radiance. Red is intense and passionate. Of all the colors, red is the one that is the most warm. It symbolizes cleansing and baptism by fire, life-blood, and associated with actions and desires that are primal.
The color red is connected to the planet Mars. Aries is its zodiac sign. Its number is one.
Red is used to increase energy. It is good for feeling protected and encouraging physical desire. Wear red to stand in your power.
The Monkey is the ninth sign in Chinese astrology.
Monkeys love fun and games. In keeping with this monkey business, the number “9” is associated with ambition, activity, smartness, mischief and adventure. Like other primates, monkeys are very similar to humans in their social organization and approach to life. They are the animal that most closely matches our intelligence and thus serves as a constant reminder to continue to build and use our own knowledge through imagination and play.
However, unlike other primates, monkey spiritual totems typically symbolize humor, child’s play, and animated and comedic situations. While other primates like gorillas and orangutans can be considered the serious guardians or wise elders of the community, monkeys are viewed with lighthearted playfulness wrapped in deep devotion and love. Monkeys are dedicated to their tribe and live in extended yet tight family units. These characteristics will rule 2016.
In many cultures across time the monkey symbol is accepted as the mischievous, clever creature often described as a smart tiny person.
This Feb 7th on Chinese New Year’s Eve start a new tradition in your Western family; feed your inner-monkey and loved ones some fun. Teach your children like a monkey by showing and sharing experiences. I invite you to begin with the traditional Chinese family dinner during the year of blood-relatives. Save left-overs in honor of future prosperity and toast the Chinese New Year with the Western saying of, “Blood is thicker than wine,” because it makes perfect sense during the year of the Red Fire Monkey.

Sunrises and Sunsets: Final Affairs Forged with Flair and FUNctionality
Do you have a Bucket List? How about a Kick-the-Bucket-List?
Reading the book, Sunrises and Sunsets, may be one of the first things you should add to it followed by listening to this awesome interview with Holley Kelley –, M.S., C.P.G. posted at the bottom of this article.
While we may not know when we’ll go, we do have a choice how we go.
We may have more control over our death than we had in our life. It may be really difficult to come to terms with the realization that from the moment we were born we began to die, but it is a fact. When you prepare to embrace Death as a friend who will eventually visit us all, it leaves you time to turn your focus to Life and live it to it’s fullest.
What is the difference between a Bucket List and a Kick-the-Bucket-List?
Listen as Holley answers that question in detail during the interview but the quick answer is, “Life… and dying is the deadline.”
Avoiding the inevitable may be as silly as avoiding a great birthday party.
End of Life Preparation is a subject we may avoid, but Holley explains how it can be fun. Yes, you heard correctly-FUN! And why shouldn’t it be? Death is as natural and joyful as birth.
Yet, only /3 of people complete their paperwork in preparation for the inevitable.
Death is just birth that happens on the “other side.” “Oh, Happy Days….”
And for many, it is indeed a Happy Day when it is a day well planned, because they planned every detail of it. Since the age of 21, when she was asked to write her first eulogy, Holley Kelley has been writing and officiating at funerals, making them extraordinary, rather than ordinary. She continues to offer services in this area as well, and during this interview shares her enlightened experiences.
