In popular culture in the United States, the Age of Aquarius refers to the advent of the New Age movement in the 1960s and 1970s. Astrologers take a different view. They see the Age of Aquarius as being a time in space that has been here for a very long time. We humans are only nearing the center-point on that astrological time-continuum.

Astrologers maintain that an astrological age is a product of the earth’s slow processional rotation and lasts for 2,160 years, on average, That is 1 degree every 72 years. 360 / 12 zodiac signs = 30. 30 * 72 = 2,160.  To a degree we could be a part of the movement. However, we will not see the end of the Age of Aquarius in this lifetime, but if you believe in reincarnation and play your cards right by respecting the finite qualities of the earth, you may be a part of the ending celebration in future lifetimes. But,  we can still dream.

In part one of this article you read how that dreams can still diagnose your life, just as they did during the times of the Ancient Greeks and Egyptians. The modern day medical community is starting to discover how important dreams and healing really are with the research work of Dr. Larry Burk, a Radiologist from Duke University, who is compiling compelling data using 20 patients whose dreams diagnosed breast cancer before it was discovered by the medical community and the tests on which they relied.

Is medicine traveling Back to the Future to find itself during the Age of Aquarius? Is this a sign that spirituality, religion and medicine are realigning to become more powerful that ever before? Is the psyche and the physical finally mending it’s fragmented image of self by using dreams as glue?
In the first article of this series you were introduce to Dr. Larry Burk and his research patient Kathleen O’Keefe-Kanavos whose prophetic lucid dreams diagnosed three cancers missed by the medical community and the tests on which they relied. Her book, Surviving Cancerland: Intuitive Aspects of Healing (Cypress House) attracted Dr. Larry Burk’s attention as it described in detail her dreams that were validated by pathology reports. Kathleen and Dr. Burk presented these finding to doctors rom around the world at the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) in Berkley, CA in 2014.

Dr. Burk’s research spotlights twenty patients whose dreams diagnosed breast cancer.
Another research participant, Carolyn K. Kenney, Ph. D.., RN published her academic perspective on the warning dream experience and inner voice guidance in 1996. Like Kathleen, Carolyn describes her dream and how it influenced her to seek medical attention, saving and changing her life forever.  Again her dreams were validated by additional tests and reports.
Wanda Burch was another participant who described her recurrent lucid precognitive dream as the Dance of Death in her book, She Who Dreams (New World Library). Like Kathleen, Wanda’s dreams foretold her diagnosis of cancer.Wanda believed that if she reached the end of the Hall of Dead while dancing in her dream she too would die. The Hall of the Dead was lined with dead relatives in their caskets. The message to Wanda was loud and clear, “You are in a life threatening situation and being watched by loved ones. If you continue to dance your way around the problem you will come to the same end as these watchers.”
The Deep Well of Guiding Wisdom-Universal Consciousness.
Dreams contain an ever-available deep well of guided wisdom. Dream-guides take countless forms; Angels, religious figures, Earth Mothers, Black Madonna’s, Grandmothers, Divine Children, mythological heroes – any apparition that radiates numinous energy can communicate guidance.
Dream Guides Expand Relationships in all Aspects of Life

Not all dreams contain life-altering information that must be remembered. However, when you are in crisis or plan to make the “mistake of a lifetime,” your ET (Eternal Teacher) phones home for help. Dreams are phone lines to the “other side” answered by Spirit guides.
On Kathleen’s live weekly internet radio show Your Life and Purpose Revealed http://www.blogtalkradio.com/living-well-talk-radio callers have shared warning dreams of financial ruin prompting them to pull money from the stock market before it crashed. Other callers speak of meeting their future husband in dreams or dreams that warned of pit-falls in their current relationship. Dreams are doorways to important guidance.
Dreamers bringing the guidance of dreams into waking-life have reported these 6 benefits:

  1. Decreased feelings of anxiety and stress
  2. Increased sense of confidence in problem solving
  3. Improved relationships with both personal and interpersonal issues
  4. Increased feelings of hope
  5. Increased feelings of peace of mind and how to live fully, no matter the circumstances
  6. Increased sense of connection to inner guidance resources
Conclusion

Inner guidance is an innate gift. Popular musician Paul McCartney sings about how during times of trouble his deceased mother Mary comes to him, sharing words of wisdom. The list of celebrities, politicians, scientists and doctors whose dreams made a difference in their wold and your is long. Einstein,s E=MC2 is a dream come true, as is President’s Lincoln’s precognitive dream of his own impending assassination.

Unfortunately, President Lincoln did not fully understand the language or symbolism in the dream.
Jabberw2

Lewis Carrol’s book Alice Through The Looking Glass is a dreamscape. Alice tries to find her way out of the woods but can’t see the forest for the trees. The vocabulary of the Jabberwocky is Dream-speak; a confusing language that doesn’t make sense… until you learn it.

Information that has emerged through patient’s dreams will transform and transcend both religious and scientific claims.  We’ re going “Back to the Future” where, like the ancient Egyptians and Greeks, dreams will be used as a diagnostic tool for health and healing, and as a respected means of unconscious guidance for a more awakened life.
